Stan has also recently published Three Dark Riders, another story in the Dustville Chronicles  When the three brothers come to Dustville to revenge their father’s death by killing the sheriff, Dan the shopkeeper and Coyote Woman step in and protect him. But the riders persist. Things end up in a three-against-one shootout and the sheriff finding his lady-love. This story was published in the July 2023 issue of Mystery Magazine.
